• Scope and Content

  The envelope itself has numerous stamps on the exterior including a field post office stamp marked 24/07/1917 on the back and a stamp on the front which is marked 'present location uncertain'. The envelope is addressed to Daniel McFarlane and also has the handwritten word 'wounded' on the left hand side. The press cutting is small and lists those wounded and the wounded that have arrived in Glasgow.
