• Scope and Content

  Correspondence between G Mackie, MP, his constituents other MPs and government agencies relating to local issues. Cases involve reorganisation of the Army reserves in reference to Territorial Army units in Caithness & Sutherland, television reception, local authority expenditure, and the cost of deliveries to the Highlands. Also includes questions about air services and Wick aerodrome, the housing overspill agreement, Dounreay, scrap metal tenders, electricity service charges, slaughterhouse facilities and national assistance.
