• Scope and Content

  Pte Harry Patterson served in both the King's Own Scottish Borders and Royal Scottish Highlanders. He enlisted 23 Dec 1915 and worked for the British Ambulance Committee serving with the French Red Cross until Jul 1917. He was awarded the Croix De Guerre for his service. He transferred to the reserves 23 Jul 1919. The collection contains correspondence, artefacts and photographs taken while on active service during the First World War.
