• Scope and Content

  Erected by Gilbert MCMILLAN in memory of Catherine WILSON, his wife who died at Woodhead 30th Nov. 1878, aged 43 years. Also Robert, their son who died on 22nd July 1871, aged 10 years. The above Gilbert MCMILLAN died at Tannylaggie, Kirkcowan, on 19th January 1899 aged 67 years. Also of Annie BLAIR, wife of Alexander MCMILLAN who died at Upper Dullarg, Parton 26th Jan. 1904 aged 29 years. And of their daughter Janet BLAIR MCMILLAN who died at Dukieston, Kells 18th August 1900 aged 8 months and 13 days. Also Jean, eldest daughter of the above Gilbert MCMILLAN died Dumfries 7th April 1926 in her 62nd year.
