Scope and Content
These notes are his own writings but have been copied out by his daughter due to the original notes being illegible. The notes describe his time at Glasgow School of Art include desciptions on societies (i.e. The Dramatic Society) as well as the etching workshop and studio spaces. James McIntosh Patrick studied at GSA from 1924-1928 under Greiffenhagen. Born in Dundee in 1907 he was a painter of landscapes/portraits in watercolour and oil as well being trained in etching. He lived and worked around Dundee, winning many awards as well as exhibiting in the RA and Tate.
