Correspondence relating to orders for paper, sold in both Scottish and English markets (London and Newcastle in particular), the supply of rags from local sources for paper manufacture, the linen trade, and including correspondence on the import of flax etc from Holland and iron from Sewden. Also some personal papers

Peter Duff was sometime treasurer of the Guildry and a bailie. The company, Messrs Peter Duff and Co. was mainly interested in paper manufacture at Woodend Paper Mill, Methven, linen and general business. Duff was also agent for Messrs Crichton, Strachan, Bell & Co., Sugar House, Dundee, and for the Edinburgh Friendly Society
