Administrative / Biographical History
Francis Robert Buchanan Stewart was born in c.1905 . His father was also a lawyer. He entered the University of Glasgow aged 18 and was a student from 1923-1926 . In his first year, 1923-1924, he studied Civil Law, Forensic Medicine. The following year, 1924-1925, he studied Scots Law and Public International Law. He graduated BL in 1926 , and LLB in 1926 .
He went on to work as a solicitor and died in Haddington on 21 June 1980.
