Diary of the religious experiences of James Nasmyth.
Scattered within the entries are various items of autobiographical information, details of family, and mention of profane plays in the Cannongate [Mid Lothian] neighbourhood [31 December 1692], and of shipping activity at Leith [Mid Lothian] harbour [9 July 1698]. Written in various locations, mainly Edinburgh, Slipperfield, Dawick, Lintoun and St Leonards.
