Scope and Content
Photographs are of trips to Germany and London, which included taking the Royal Scot train to York, catching the boat from Grimsby to Hamburg thence to Berlin where the group visited hospitals and laboratories; Broadcasting House in Berlin; the Charité; the Führerschule der Deutschen Ärzteschaft in Alt-Rehse; the labour camp and mental asylum in Domjüch, Neustrelitz. The students also attended an election meeting at Deutschlandhalle addressed by General Goering (entrance ticket pasted on page) as part of their visit. There are also images of the Olympic stadium in Berlin under construction. The London trip images are of visits to St Bartholomew's Hospital , National Hospital for Diseases of the Heart, Royal Cancer Hospital, National Hospital for Nervous Diseases, University College Hospital.
