Scope and Content
Collected AGM papers from ring binder labelled permanent file from 1963. Papers and correspondence regarding AGM from 1963 to 1966 with letter to heads of departments regarding Jubilee Meeting 1964, including information on meetings, booking forms, AGM minutes, agenda and minutes for Executive Council Meetings, financial statements and programmes for Registrars' and Scientific Meetings. Correspondence regarding a visit to Copenhagen (1964); medical equipment required on board a ship (1964); Provost Fred Smedly of Bathgate (1961); demolition of the house where Sir James Simpson, pioneer in the use of chloroform was born.
