Callachally lay originally in the lands of Moy and was acquired by Lachlan Macquarie to became part of his estate of Jarvisfield. It had been his intention to make the house at Callachally his estate house but the tenant could not be moved. Glenforsa became the property of Lachlan's brother Charles. Many of the documents under this reference pertain to the taking over of Callachally by Colonel Greenhill Gardyne
