Queen Margaret College Settlement Association and Invalid Children's Aid Association Case Notes

Scope and Content
The files were begun under the Queen Margaret College Settlement Association (QMCSA) before name changed to the Invalid Children's Aid Association (ICAA) in July 1928, although files still retained original name for the first years. Material contains names, addresses and associated material referring to well-being of children, their parents, with notes from authorities and organizations. The files give details of family and children, occupations, religious background and income. Details of the child or children receiving assistance are given with correspondence and notes from various authorities, hospitals and institutions. Information received and visits made to the individuals are listed on the case cover sheet.
