Scope and Content
Two boxes of card indices - one card per plant appearing in the B.S.B.I. vascular plant survey of the Midlothian Vice County V.C.83, listing the historic literature relating to each plant.
Arrangement
Cards have been left in the same order that E.P. Beattie left them - users should take care to retain this order when using collection. The cards/plants are numbered and ordered using J.E.
