Stuart S K Harvey worked for ICI Nobel Division, starting in 1953 as a Laboratory Assistant. He progressed from Assistant Technical Officer, 3rd class, in 1957 to 1st class in 1960. In 1960 he was awarded BSc. Chemistry, 2nd Class Hons., from the University of Strathclyde. Mr Harvey lectured at Paisley College of Technology from 1960-1994. The Annual Report of the Paisley Technical College, for Session 1962-63, lists Mr Harvey as a member of the Academic Staff with ARCST and ARIC after his name. He was awarded MRSC in 1962 and CChem in 1975.
