Administrative / Biographical History
Crew insignia, or braid, as worn by members of crew across the Ben Line Group fleet. The sleeve insignia was worn around the jacket sleeve and the epaulettes - both soft and hardboard variants - were worn on the shoulders. The amount and size of stripes denotes rank, and colour denotes department. The buttons were worn by crew across the fleet and departments.
