Ellerman Lines joined Ben Line and other shipping companies in 1966 in forming the Associated Container Transport Consortium Ltd (ACT).
Vianna was owned by Galbraith Wrightson Ltd, partner in Ben Line Ship Management. Managed by Ben Line Ship Management 1973-1976.
Strider Broadsword was built for Sea Containers Group, 1976, then renamed Jeddah Crown, 1976, when managed by Ben Line Ship Management. Management passed to Atlantic Maritime Services and name reverted to Strider Broadsword again in 1979.
Ben Line aquired the Sheaf Steam Shipping Co, and its subsidiary Bamburgh Shipping Co, in 1976.
Edinburgh Fruid was Grey Warrior until 1981- when managed by Ben Line Ship Management - and Celtic Link until 1988. Named Edinburgh Fruid and owned by Edinburgh Tankers c1990, which shared an office with Ben Line HQ in Edinburgh, relationship unclear.
