Letter dated 29 Dec 1916 from the Secretary to the Matron of the Seamen's Hospital, Greenwich, inquiring about facilities for nursing children at the hospital and related issues of registration;
Letter dated 29 July 1916 from Miss M. Breay, Secretary of the Society for the State Registration of Trained Nurses to Sir Arthur Stanley stating that the Society "desires to disassociate itself from the opinion expressed by the Deputation which advocate the registration of Cottage and Village nurses, and other women engaged in nursing work, not necessarily trained in hospitals" and asking for clarification on the types of nurses who would be included in the state Register;
