Letter, 29 November 1899, Bristol, Cuthbert Atchley to "My Dear Ernest", [?Brechin]. Asks him to search for a quotation from the 'glosses on consuetudo', comments on the "lack of common or garden charity" at the present meeting of "so-called Catholic and Christian priests in London" and 156cumenical difference in general; expresses his disgust at the way "your high clergy talk twaddle on the ceremonial or fumigatory use of incense".
