Baptism register of Rev. David Rose containing note of baptisms in Birse, Careston [Caraldston], Dunlappie, Edzell, Fettercairn, Glenmuich, Lethnott, Lochlee, Menmure, Navar, Strathcathro, 1723-1735. Notebook has binding and some pages missing and had been used at later dates for children's handwriting copy exercises in at least 2 hands: Charles Barnot, 1764 and James Mitchell, 1780. pp.1-13 Baptisms; Lochlee, 9 July 1727 - 19 October 1735. pp.13-26 Copy exercises. pp.27-32 Baptisms: Lethnott, 17 January 1724 - 26 November 1732; Navar, 7 December 1729 and Menmure, 9 December 1729. pp.32-34 Copy exercises. pp.35-46 Baptisms: Birse, Careston, Dunlappie, Edzell, Fettercairn, Glenmuich, Menmure, Navar, Stracathro, October 1723 - December 1735. pp.46-48 Part of a sermon or treatise on the Pope's supremacy [in earlier hand than that of David Rose].
