Petition by the Managers and Hearers of the Episcopal Chapel requesting the appointment of William Reid as assistant to the Rev. W. Falconer, minister of the chapel and requesting that he be admitted as a candidate for Orders "witnesses in presence of Mr William Mure, one of his Majesties Justices for the Peace for the County of Lanark North Britain, 11 September 1783".
