  A Great Page in the History of Medicine was a French translation of Ross’s Nobel Prize lecture, Researches in Malaria, with a biographical preface written by Broquet. Ross wished to have the work published in Britain and accordingly R.L. Megroz translated the preface into English. Publication was refused by Murray in 1929 because they felt it wasn’t a commercial proposition; it was then offered to Williams and Morgate who expressed interest.
