Includes references to her social life, visits of Winston Churchill, the King, Dame Helen Gynne Vaughan, references to other service personnel stationed in Orkney, parties etc., air raids, descriptions of colleagues, work etc., E.N.S.A. concerts, dances, leave, (4 June 1941), description of Major General G C Kemp, M.C., the G. o C. and other officers at HQ with whom she was in daily contact including Captain P W Scott (Pat Scott, late of Kierfjold House), publication of the Orkney Blast and associated problems re censorship, (5 July 1941) reference to Hank Rotherham, description of exercise at Binscarth and Waukmill.
