Biographical details regarding the life of Nisbet, compiled by the donor. One sided typed sheet, printed on A4 paper. c.2012
A copy of “The Nurses’ League of the Victoria Infirmary of Glasgow 1986/87.” Soft bound pamphlet, 1987.
One facsimile copy of a sepia toned photographic portrait of Dick, wearing a nurse’s uniform, complete with frilled cap and apron. Only Dick’s head and shoulders are visible. This facsimile is a colour copy printed on white A4 paper.” c.1950s
Card commemorating the closure of “Philipshill Hospital” in 1992. The front of the card shows a painting of a person in a wheelchair holding hands with a nurse in uniform. There is a building visible in the background which is identified on the reverse as Philipshill Hospital. Printed text inside the card reads: “Philipshill Hospital (1929-1992.) With thanks and best wishes to all our friends.”

A letter from Miss M Henderson, Unit Nurse Manager, Southern General Hospital to Dick regarding Dick’s upcoming retirement . In the letter, Henderson refers to the retirement being moved forward due to the closure of Philipshill Hospital. Printed on one side of A4 paper, 25 Sep 1992
Copy of a contract of employment made between Dick and the Board of Management for Glasgow Victoria and Leverndale Hospitals. The contract is for a role as Ward Sister at Philipshill Hospital starting on 1 May 1969, dated 14 May 1969
