Asks for support for a memorial to Lord Pentland, secretary for Scotland recommending Patrick Geddes for the Directorship of the Royal Scottish Museum; with copy of the memorial and note by Thomson asking recipient [? J.T. Ewen] to send one of the letters to Mr Young.
