Lantern slides mainly prepared by the Public Health Laboratory

Scope and Content
These slides were amongst those identified as Public Health on the photographic storage shelves. They do not appear to have had a coherent arrangement although some were in two wooden carrying cases designed for lantern slides. Many were captioned and those with similar captions have been catalogued together. Those without captions have been grouped together either by similarity or subject. Many of the slides were initialled RMB for Dr R M Buchanan, who was the City Analyst.
The slides have been packaged in numbered folders. The numbers correspond to the order in which the items appear in the catalogue entry.
