Scope and Content
Six different sub-series of files have been identified: one for the raw data used to compile the annual reports (Working papers for the Glasgow Medical Officer of Health Annual Reports D-HE/1/9/1); two with different numbering systems (Running Number Files of the Glasgow Public Health Department D-HE/1/9/2, Numeric Classification Files of the Glasgow Public Health Department D-HE/1/9/3); one for statistics on maternity and obstetrics (Obstetric Files of the Corporation of Glasgow Public Health Department D-HE/1/9/4); one for files created by the Divisional and Principal Medical Officers (Files of the Corporation of Glasgow Public Health Department D-HE/1/9/5) ; and the Press-cutting files and books (the later press-cuttings volumes, from accession 5072, were also added to this series) (D-HE/1/9/6-7); file on South Eastern Division - Fowl Killing Premises (D-HE/1/9/8).
A further series of more miscellaneous files is at D-HE/1/10.
