  The publications include those published by the Department (D-HE/6/1) and those collected by or donated to the Department (D-HE/6/2-7). The divisions within this section are artificial as it is not known how the Department kept these records. Although many of these items were in the Departmental Library, it is not possible to recreate the library arrangement as equally many items but did not have Library references.

  D-HE/6/8- 10 are arranged by format. D-HE/6/9-10 were previously catalogued by Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board Archives. D-HE/6/8 were originally catalogued as TD400.
