Books deposited by Land and Environmental Services

Scope and Content
These books were deposited by Land and Environmental Services in 2009 but they all originally came from the Public Health Department Library. Many of the items have the Glasgow Corporation Public Health Library borrowing sticker for members of staff to record loans.
A further four books were deposited at the same time but were not retained as they were not stamped by the Library or have one of the reference stickers. These were two works on machining copper alloys; a handbook on water treatment produced by the firm Houseman & Thompson; the 48th edition of Pear's Cyclopaedia; and The Water Supply of Glasgow (copy at D-HE/6/3/30).
