Publications collected by the Glasgow Public Health Department Library

Scope and Content
These books and articles, including some by departmental staff, were published externally, the articles coming from journals, and were not publications by the Department (for those see D-HE/6/1). Many of the items have the Glasgow Corporation Public Health Library borrowing sticker for members of staff to record loans. Items in the Library were kept according to an alpha-numeric system. The original references have been cited. The series has been arranged chronologically except for the sub-series at D-HE/6/7/214 which was catalogued after the main series was completed.
There are also articles by Dr A K Chalmers and Sir A S M MacGregor, both Medical Officers of Health, in D-HE/5/2 and D-HE/5/3 respectively. Duplicate copies have been kept in this series where they have additional information on provenance.
