Includes Corporation of Glasgow Annual Report of Housing; River Clyde Pollution; Report on the Burial Grounds in Glasgow; Disposal of Glasgow Sewage; Glasgow Census Statistics 1881-1901 and more.
The bound volumes at D-HE/1/5/1-5 include two annual reports but otherwise this series contains official reports produced by the Department at its own instigation or at the request of the Corporation. There is some duplication between the bound volumes and the loose items.
Many of the items were part of the Public Health Department Library. Items were kept in the library according to an alpha-numeric system. The original references have been cited in each entry where given.
