Compilation of statistics mostly on death rates and causes of death including: enquiry by A D Steel Maitland on phthisis death rates for males and females at different ages in Glasgow compared to the rest of Scotland, 1909; vaccinations 1884-1908; estimates of people in the city aged 70 and over by ward, 1908; birth and death rates 1855-1908; numbers of deaths from scarlet fever, diphtheria and croup, enteric fever, measles, whooping cough and scarlet fever by month and week 1898-1911; five tables of census statistics in French 1880-1909; comparative statistics for Glasgow, Greenock and Edinburgh; number of inmates in reception houses 1900-1908; cases treated by hospital 1892-1909; death rates and rates of incidence of disease by ward 1900-1909; and comparison of death rate with England and Wales and Ireland1897-1908 (p132).
