Scope and Content
This section includes the records of both predecessor authorities for some of the functions of the Public Health Department, in the case of the Parish Councils, and those of authorities which became part of the City of Glasgow through boundary extensions. The latter includes the Burghs of Govan, Pollokshaws, Kinning Park and Partick. Reports for Rutherglen, which was part of Glasgow from 1975-1996, are at D-HE/6/4.
