Scope and Content
These slides have typed captions and sometimes other information on the border surrounding the image. They are of: bacteria from mouth; pneumococcus in sputum; fungus of favus (x570); a large coccus; colour slide of images of a brain; trypanosoma evansi (x1500); malaria mosquito; house fly showing stages of development; masses of cholera vibrios in bowel; streptococcus; bacillus subtrilis; black rat; whooping cough bacillus in sputum; bacillus of diphtheria; spirochaete of relapsing fever; trypanosoma gambiense (x1000); b. aertrycke; v. choerae in pure culture (x1000); plague bacillus in gland of rat (x1000); malaria parasite (x1000); halteridium of paddy bird (x1000); rat flea (ceratophyllus fasciatus); glossina palpalis (tse-tse fly); meningococci in pus (brain); and influenza bacillus in sputum.
