Continuation of the dispute between the magistrates and the bakers of Glasgow concerning the ladle duties at Partick Mills, [see A2/1/1, Nos. 37 & 55]. The town's right to levy ladle duty on grain and flour brought into the Royalty or Partick Mills has been secured. The bakers now claim a reduction for grain or flour stored or grinded at Patrick Mills which is subsequently sold without the royalty or exported.
