Letter from Shiell and Small Solicitors, Dundee. Informing the Mother Superior that the Trustees have agreed to pay the sum of £50.00 towards the maintainance of a nursing sister and that the amount will now be forwarded to the Sisterhood.

The Sisterhood of SS Mary and Modwenna (1870-1988) was a Convent based in King Street, Dundee. Founded in 1870 by Bishop Forbes, the sisterhood provided parochial and nursing support to the poor and ran a home for orphans and incurables.
