Scope and Content
Black soft cover file containing a copy of a 1974 Caledon centenary brochure, a brief summary of the history of Caledon Shipbuilding, and copies of photographs of ships built by Caledon in the 1930s-1970s. Some of the photographs are official, featuring the names and types of ships, names of their owners, tonnage details, horsepower and top speed. Also includes newspaper cuttings (and copies of cuttings) from the 1970s about Dundee shipping, copies of photographs of the last launch from the Caledon Shipyard in 1980, and copies of photographs of the Caledon Offices in Dundee in 1990-1991.
