William Coutts Cadger was born in Glasgow on 30 June 1910. He wwas an arts student at the University of Glasgow , Scotland from 1930 and graduated MA in 1934 . He went on to become a teacher.
He died in Glasgow on 7 June 1965.
The collection also contains the lecture notes of Annie Jack Aitken who was born in Burnbank, Lanarkshire on 11 April 1907 and attended the University of Glasgow from 1927-1931 and graduated MA. She went on to become a teacher. It is unknown how William Coutts Cadger and Annie Jack Aitken are related to each other.
