• Scope and Content

  The items were found in a box labelled "Stonehaven Town Council Title Deeds, Legal Papers, Minutes, Corr found loose 1674-1893" during cataloguing work. The box indicated that the copy of the fundamental charter (AS/Kstn/10/1) was originally in this box prior to conservation work.

  The items have been catalogued in their "red number" order, with other items at the end of the sequence. No other original order could be discerned from the records.
