Scope and Content
This series of lectures seems to be an intoduction to the undergraduate course in psychological medicine at the University. Rodger begins his introductory lecture with "It is the first time a Professor of Psychological Medicine has given a lecture to undergraduate at this University. I am very conscious of the honour and approach my task with humility". He then goes on to explain the founding of the Chair of Psychological Medicine at the University (the second such Chair in Britain) and the use of Psychological Medicine in the title, an old fashioned word which was used instead of psychiatry or mental science.
Arrangement
Lectures were originally numbered 1-13 so this order has been maintained.
