Scope and Content
Design patterns, primarily for 'Clan' tartans, but also for military plaids, such as Blackwatch, and a number of contract designs for Robbins Bros. of New York. There are many duplicates, patterns that might have been redone at a later date, or for carpets with a different pitch/shot ratio. Where more than one design number is given one is usually for export and the other for home markets.
