Scope and Content
Leni Pontecorvo kept daily diaries detailing her day-to-day life as the wife of an academic. She records, among her daily and routine appointments, Pontecorvo's meetings and research trips abroad, as well as events and dinners they both attended, family get-togethers, parties, household chores. On some days she also includes a brief note about the weather, which some meteorologists may find interesting. Her diaries start when the Pontecorvo's were living in Glasgow in 1966 and also follow their life in London when Pontecorvo was working at the Imperical Cancer Research Fund. They continue until Leni's death in September 1986.
