• Scope and Content

  Eagle was the Chairman of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and in his letters outlined possible plans for a new genetics department within the medical school and asked for Pontecorvo's ideas on the function and composition of this new department. They also discuss Pontecorvo's visit in June 1962. Some of Pontecorvo's letters are draft handwritten copies.
