• Scope and Content

  Subtle, abstract design. One of seven works presented to GSA by the Scottish Arts Council, as a result of the Council's collection being broken up and dispersed across Scotland.

• Administrative / Biographical History

  John Taylor was born in Darvel, Ayrshire in 1936. He gained a Diploma of Art in Drawing and Painting at Glasgow School of Art in 1959 and Higher Diploma of Art at Birmingham Polytechnic 1972-73 where he learned to screenprint.
