Scope and Content
Tall, arum lily shaped hammered silver candlestick (Edinburgh hallmark, 1981, makers stamp RD) with textured gilt area at base picking out imaginary trail of molten wax.

Roger Drew trained at the Glasgow School of Art and Glasgow University. He has worked as a silk-screen printer, graphic designer, silversmith and lecturer, exhibiting and undertaking commissions throughout Britain. He Lives and works in Auchtererder in Perthshire, dividing time between writing and art. Writer of “The Stream's Secret: The Symbolism of Dante Gabriel Rossetti”.Roger won the Johnson Mattey Silver award in 1981.
