This item was lost in the fire in The Mackintosh Building at The Glasgow School of Art on 23rd May 2014. One-eyed female figure in long green coat, set against landscape.
Administrative / Biographical History
Born Paisley. Studied at Glasgow School of Art and Hospitalfield, Arbroath, 1974-1976. Awarded the Governor's Prize froM GSA in 1974, a Cargill Travelling Scholarship enabled her to visit Colonsay and Italy in 1976-1977; won the Lauder Award 1979. First solo exhibition Glasgow 1978 and first exhibited RSA 1987. Exhibited RSA since 1987 & GI since 1977 from Beaver St. Represented in Glasgow AG.
