Scope and Content
A large selection which is predominantly made up of design patterns featuring ornate chintz scroll elements. Most of these patterns were intended for the domestic market, but one has been created on behalf of Allied Carpets. One design sketch included in this drawer is marked as having been on loan from Baker and Co., London. Named designers include G. Johnston.
