• Scope and Content

  The binding for this volume is weak and the back covers has already become completely separated. 'Design Photographs 1906' has been written on the spine subsequent to its repair, while the perhaps more accurate title 'Indian Sketches, Bk No. 1, 1906' is written inside the front cover. The pages have B&W/sepia photographs of painted carpet designs pasted onto them. The majority of the photographs carry numbers written in red ink, which range from 1013½- 1472 (not inclusive). These numbers can be cross referenced with STOD/201/1/8/1.
