• Scope and Content

  From [Goura?], offering to send food from Wales. Opposite is a colour pencil drawing of two gravestones and a village in the background at sunset, with "Beaucamps" crossed out in pencil in the bottom right corner. On the reverse is a larger pencil drawing titled "In Memoriam", of the graves of Lt WJ Lawson [William Lawson] and 2nd Lt RS Forbes [Robert Struthers Forbes], C Company, 14th Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders. The drawing is signed R MacDonald, May 10 1917, France.
