Correspondence: 1864. Miscellaneous topics pertaining to engineering and business matters together with current, general and family affairs. Correspondents and contents include: D. Cruickshank, Southampton (mentions his children’s ill health) Sir David Baxter, Dundee and Kilmaron, Cupar, Fife (relates to founding of Albert Institute; discusses business matters including impact of American Civil War; mentions impact of opening of southern ports on price of cotton); Thomas A.
