Letter from Drummond Nicholson and Johnston, Cupar to the police commissioners, Perth relating to the payment to them, on behalf of their clients, trustees of the late David Buchan, the sum of £25 for a derelict property in the line of North Tay Street “commonly known as the Hangman’s House”, 10 May 1884.
Letter from George Wells, Perth to William MacLeish, Perth concerning the state of the stone pitching in the bed of the river at Smeaton’s Bridge. Mentions that a “considerable scour has been caused in the bed of the river” between the second and third arches. Suggests this be remedied when the river is shallow, 19 June 1884.
